Berryblossom Ragdolls is a TICA and CFA registered cattery, breeding in alignment with the Ragdoll breed standard. Before breeding, every Berry Blossom Ragdoll is genetically tested to ensure the best genetics and healthiest kittens possible. With this practice, Berry Blossom Ragdolls can provide a 2-year health guarantee against hereditary and 1-year health guarantee against congenital defects.
All Ragdoll kittens are intentionally handled and played with everyday to facilitate the development of their well-rounded, easy temperament that is the cornerstone of the Ragdoll breed. It's not uncommon to peek into the living room to find our two-year old daughter watching cartoons while swinging a cat toy around--kittens literally flying! Two minutes later, I will check back in to find everyone snuggled up in blankets on the couch. This level of engagement is part of what makes a Berryblossom Ragdoll.
Who We Are
We are a TICA and CFA registered cattery, located in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Salem, Oregon. Our name "Berryblossom" was inspired by my upbringing on a marionberry farm. Our cats growing up on the farm were indoor/ outdoor Siamese (Balinese)-- full members of the family who slept and played with us everyday. Those characters get full credit for my love of cats to this day. We now live on the farm again with our spoiled, loving Ragdolls and enjoy raising sweet, personable Ragdoll kittens as a part of our family. Our Ragdolls get the privilege of exploring the house, playing, being held, handled, teased, and cuddled by both kids and dogs as we believe that this is important in creating a well-rounded family member for you.
